The Community Impact Award recognizes students whose volunteerism, leadership, and service have made a lasting impact beyond the classroom.

Friends of Frenchies (FoFE) is proud to honor students who have gone above and beyond in supporting our mission. From translating plaques for the National Museum of Chad and volunteering at Camp Rigolo, to fundraising for tutors, scholarships, fifth-grade Canoe Island trips, and other programs, these students continued to serve long after completing their required volunteer hours.

In spring 2026, FoFE awarded its inaugural Community Impact Awards to four high school seniors JP Barnhart, Ellie Cho, Scarlett Travis, and Julian White. JP Barnhart and Ellie Cho each received a $500 scholarship. Thanks to a generous anonymous donation, Scarlett Travis and Julian White were also recognized with $250 scholarships each for their exceptional service.

FoFE also recognized five juniors with Certificates of Recognition for their outstanding contributions: Mason Allenbaugh, Ella Lee, Brandon Young, Ellie Park, and Ramsey Anderson.
