DESCRIPTION:Friends of French Eugene are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the 2026 High School Community Impact Award. This award recognizes high school juniors and seniors who have made exceptional contributions to the local French Immersion community. This recognition celebrates individuals whose volunteerism\, civic leadership\, and public service extend far beyond their educational responsibilities to create meaningful community impact. An award of up to $500 will be given to top two recipients and a Recognition Certificate to up to five Seniors and up to ten Juniors in recognition of their contributions. The deadline for consideration is extended to April 13\, 2026\, and recipients will be notified of their awards on May 8\, 2026.  \nFor any inquires\, contact hexeok@gmail.com \nWho can apply: Junior and Seniors in High School in Eugene/Springfield  \nDeadline: April 13\, 2026   \nWhat to submit:  \n\nOnline application form (Use Google account)\nOptional: Applicants can have up to two optional letters of recommendation (each with max 300 words) turned in on their behalf for additional consideration at friends.of.frenchies.eugene@gmail.com. SUMMARY:Fundraising: UO Spring Game Concessions
DESCRIPTION:Sign up to volunteer at the Friends of Frenchies concessions booth.  Join us in fundraising for all the great initiatives FoFE is involved with!  Bring friends and family (must be 14 years or older). It’s a great way to meet other parents and frenchies while supporting FoFE.  Students can even earn volunteer hours and valuable customer service experience! \n\nNeed is for 17 volunteers\, aged 14 and older\, with or able to obtain a current Food Handlers card\nTimes: 10:30 am ~ 3:30 pm (commitment is for 2½ hours before start of game at 1 pm and includes clean up)\n\nSign up to volunteer here!
